ToeJam and Earl was a part of my childhood. The second game in the series  was one of the first games I ever played growing up. I used to play it co-oporately with my siblings, but as time went on I completed it on my own.

After I learnt about the (dare I say it) unsatisfying sequel which was the third instalment, I lost hope that there would ever be a 'true' sequel.

I am so honoured and thrilled that I am backing this project. ToeJam and Earl: Back in the Groove is their upcoming game that they are making completely independent from a developer.

The team really need our help to make this a reality. it is currently in it's prototype stages of development. But it's looking really exciting so far!

Please, please, please follow this link to back this project. If this was a part of your childhood, then you can empathise how nostalgic it would be to re-join this franchise. It is up to the fellow fans to make this happen.

Hello everyone ;)

I'm back from London MCM Expo May 2013!
I love the con experience, getting hyped up and having an awesome time. Ad always, the cosplay was fantastic and everyone was really friendly!

So, how did this expo go you may ask?
pretty average. Well, there's reasons why it was good and alot of reasons why it didn't live up to a few cons ago.
Let me give you a little history
Oct 2007 - AWESOME
Oct 2008 -Meh...
May 2009 AWESOME
Oct 2009  GOOD
May 2010 AWESOME
Oct 2010  AMAZING
May 2011 AMAZING
Oct 2011 TERRIBLE (considered never going again)
May 2012 Meh...
Oct 2012 O.K.
May 2013 Meh....

As you can see, my experience has gone a little down hill. There are reasons for this.  It's rotten timing when your cosplay doesn't coincide with a convention coming up... I have a cosplay planned , that won't be ready until October by the earliest.
Sakuya from .hack// Quantum. It's a shame she couldn't have been worn to this Expo, but there's always next. I couldn't join a group so easily for a photoshoot. If I cosplayed a Hetalia cosplay for example, they'd welcome me in with open arms. But I only cosplay characters which are important to me, regardless if they're a popular series or not. Sadly, I didn't see that many .hack characters.
I didn't manage to bag lots of deals at this expo, the venders didn't carry alot of varied stuff this time, which is a real shame...

I also got my wallet stolen in london; along with contact details, bank cards, money and travel stuff. So it really did dampen the mood of my weekend. :( I lost out on alot of photographers details, I am slowly clawing them back with research.

The goods were also worth mentioning, like really friendly photographers. thankyou so much for taking my photo! ^_~Oh and my cosplay didn't get damaged! hurrah! x

Anyway, i won't stop going to MCM, but I need to pull my finger out with my cosplays! I'm not getting any younger.

Roll on October for Sakuya! Stay Tunned!
-Vanya

POSTMAN

I have been featured in
PRESS:

Telegraph Newspaper: (30th October 2012)
'Fans wear cosplay, superhero and manga costumes at London Comic Con 2012'

MercuryNews: 'Costumes at London Comic Con' (1st November 2012)

Nintendo Offical MagazineL 'Best Nintendo cosplay' (11th November 2012)

Please Welcome:
The Postman from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
(First Worn at London MCM Expo October 2012)

and

Zelkova from .hack// LINK
(First Worn at London MCM Expo October 2012)

I originally didn't plan two cosplays for this Autumn... but looks like I couldn't resist! The Postman cosplay was a very enjoyable costume to wear. The Flag on my back was easy to walk around with, and made using light and durable materials. The Bamboo stick which comes out of the back-pack is light, as opposed to a heavy pole of hard wood. I individually sewed the letters onto the red flag on both sides. It took a while, but I am pleased with the results!

Zelkova is a character who I fell in love with whilst playing .hack//G.U.  on the Ps2. He made a reappearance in the 2009 game .hack//LINK on the Psp with an even more beautiful costume design. It was a shame I didn't have time to make the weapon he uses. I have planned to make it though.

So what's next? Should I cosplay another character from The Legend of Zelda or .hack//, or even from an entirely new series? I even planned a Hope Estheim cosplay from Final Fantasy XIII back in 2010 and even started making the jacket; yet it's not finished...

Here are some other characters I am desiring to make:
Greece (Hercules Karpusi) - Hetalia
Balmung (Original ver.) - .hack//
Hope Estheim (Adult ver.) - Final Fantasy XIII
Vaan  (Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift Ver.) - Final Fantasy XII

(This list is have characters added to!)
